What are your rates?

Our rates are £630 per week from May to September and £90 per night in April. See details below on minimum booking periods.

When are you open?
We welcome visitors from the beginning of April to the end of September and then close for the winter season.

Is there a minimum booking period?

At Coel Na Mara we offer weekly bookings (Saturday to Saturday) from May to September. Shorter stays can be accommodated but will be charged at a full week’s rate.

We accept shorter bookings in April, with a minimum stay of three nights arriving any day of the week.

What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check in is from 3pm although an earlier arrival time may be negotiable if we haven’t had guests the night before. We require all visitors to leave by 10am on the day of departure to allow us to prepare the house for our next guests.

Is there wifi?
Wireless broadband is available at the house and we will provide the password to you when you arrive.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately no pets are allowed at Coel-Na-Mara because we are situated next to a working croft.

Is there parking at the house?
Yes – there is an off-road parking space at the rear of the house.

Is there mobile phone reception?
Vodafone and EE reception is generally good in Coel Na Mara and in other areas of Yell. To check coverage for your network see https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/mobile-coverage (postcode ZE2 9BT). There is an incoming calls only phone in the house.

What linen is provided?
The house is provided with all bedding and a bath towel and hand towel per guest.  If your stay is for more than a week, fresh linen will be provided by arrangement.

What laundry facilities are there?
There is a washing machine, an outdoor clothes line, clothes horse, iron and ironing board.

Are there additional charges for electricity?
There are no extra charges for electricity which is included in the weekly rate.

Is smoking allowed?
For hygiene and safety reasons, no smoking is allowed inside the house or in the garden.
